The Challenge
TekniPlex needed a modern, digital alternative to physical business cards—especially for use during expos, conferences, and client meetings—where speed, efficiency, and traceability are critical. Key challenges included lack of a scalable tool to generate digital business cards across teams, manual and fragmented processes for sharing contact info at events, need to support mobile-first usage, QR scanning, and wallet compatibility, ensuring brand consistency while enabling personal customization, and security and user management across multiple business units.
Custom Platform Development
We designed and developed a custom digital business card creator platform enabling global teams to create, download, and share fully branded digital cards with clients and prospects in seconds. The development included stakeholder interviews to understand event and sales workflows across regions, mapping user roles and permissions (marketing admins vs. end users), design of a flexible card template system with locked branding elements, development of card generation engine with QR code creation and Apple/Google Wallet support, and backend panel for admin control, user management, and usage analytics.
