The challenge
The Ignite TX team needed a modern site to expand access to genetic testing for Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer (HBOC) and Lynch syndrome (LS). It had to educate a wide range of users, move people through study enrollment, and provide resources for patients and providers, all while meeting strict compliance requirements.

The approach
Accessible, Simple Design
We built a fully responsive site designed around accessibility and ease of use. A clear visual hierarchy and inclusive language made sure the content worked for medical professionals and the general public. The UX was built around three things: inform, qualify, guide to action. That meant intuitive navigation, clean content, and interactive FAQs that actually answer questions.

The solution
Secure Infrastructure & CMS
The site sits on scalable infrastructure that's fully secure for sensitive study data. We built a custom CMS so the study team can update content, post announcements, and manage FAQs without needing a developer. For a long-term clinical trial, that matters. The system is ready to grow as new phases or regions get added.
The impact
- 01
Better study accessibility for patients and providers across Texas
- 02
Cleaner enrollment flow with intuitive UX and clear CTAs
- 03
Mobile-first design built for underserved and rural populations
Healthcare projects like Ignite TX represent the highest stakes in digital development, where accessibility, security, and user experience directly impact lives. Working with the Ignite TX team to advance genetic testing accessibility has been both a privilege and proof of how thoughtful digital strategy can democratize healthcare innovations.

Our Process
Stage 1: Discovery & Compliance. We worked with the study's PI and comms team to understand the goals, audience, and compliance requirements. Deliverables: a Technical Compliance Framework, Content Strategy & Wireframes, and an Accessibility and Mobile Usability Report.
Stage 2: Design, Build & Test. We brought the site to life with a strong visual identity, smooth front-end interactions, and a mobile-first layout. Features: an eligibility screener with guided steps, an interactive provider referral flow, modular FAQ and Resources sections, and event tracking for engagement analysis.
Stage 3: Deployment & Training. The site went live on a secure environment with full SSL and hosting security protocols. We trained the internal team on the CMS, with ongoing support so content updates and user feedback can be handled in real time.
