The Challenge
The Auditorio Nacional required a complete overhaul of its digital presence to better reflect its status as a world-class venue and to improve the online experience for its diverse audience. The previous website lacked a modern design, mobile optimization, and had limited integration with real-time ticketing systems and promotional content. Key challenges included outdated design and poor mobile usability, fragmented user experience when browsing events and purchasing tickets, lack of dynamic content management and multimedia support, limited accessibility for audiences with different needs and devices, and disconnect between the site's visual identity and the prestige of the venue.

UX/UI and Development Strategy
We partnered with Auditorio Nacional's communication and operations teams to redesign their website from the ground up through discovery sessions with marketing, production, and ticketing teams, redefined content hierarchy focused on upcoming events, ticket access, and visitor experience, design of a flexible and visually rich layout that highlights the venue's legacy and dynamic programming, integrated media content strategy including image galleries, promotional videos, and artist highlights, ticketing flow optimization in collaboration with their third-party sales partner, and SEO and accessibility audits to ensure visibility and inclusion.

Modern Features & Accessibility
We developed a fully responsive, mobile-first website with immersive visuals, events calendar with filters by genre, artist, and date, real-time ticket link integration with seat selection, modular CMS structure for flexible content publishing, multimedia modules for videos, photo galleries, and behind-the-scenes content, bilingual (Spanish-English) structure to support international users, and accessibility features aligned with WCAG 2.1 standards. The implementation follows performance-optimized design, accessible and SEO-friendly architecture, and collaborative feedback loops with communications and ticketing teams.
